The first reference that one has when hearing the name Transylvania, is Dracula.
This is a pity, because this region insists with the tourist marketing of this supposed attraction, putting aside the fact that it is a beautiful part in the center of Romania, full of attractive landscapes and incredible villages.
What had intrigued me were the images of the walled enclosures, containing churches in their centers. So, they are not really castles and neither villages surrounded by walls. Just the church is surrounded by walls with defensive towers. In a rather small area, there are dozens of towns with these churches.
We depart our trip from the city of Sibiú and making an arch to East direction, we went through Sigsagohara (Dracula´s city!) ending our tour of Transylvania in the city of Brasov.
